The Fundamental Weakness of Liberalism
I think that liberalism has underneath it what we might call an IED or an articulated equality drive, which is basically when you say, all men are created equal. And then you have to kind of create systematic justifications for why there are any sort of disparities between groups. That's the inherent weakness of liberal civil rights. It doesn't try and group people and throw them against each other in a zero-sum game. But suddenly, now you have to give equal consideration to various different groups. So you have finalized the categorization of human beings into classes rather than saying, well, this man, which in previous studies were just doing this Englishman, has a right not to be treated
