The Importance of Sharp Ratios in Trading
Less rules, less bells and whistles makes for a more robust system. But did it basically back test better as well? Just not having all those extra bells and whistels? Maybe not necessarily from a sharp ratio perspective,. but did it in fact just generate more profits if you just follow the pure approach? You must use sharp. You must use volatility. If you do that, then you can make it work in the back test.
