The Role of the Pitch Clock in the Postseason

Evan Drelick asked MLB about a pitch clock in the postseason. Morgan Sord, an MLB executive, said they decided to keep the same rules throughout the game for two reasons. He didn't like the idea of playing different parts of the game under different rules. And lastly, he felt it was unfair for some players to have some pitching with a timer and some not pitching with a timers.
