How Deep Learning Can Help You Maximize Your Score
Before deep learning, AI was really lots of if then else statements. The idea is that you don't give the machine anything that it's sort of privileged information let's call it so we just gave it the pixels on the screen. And what the pixel on the screen represented, you have to work out all of that from first principles with the only objective being to maximize the score as the only guiding principle. Back in 2012, when we were first doing this, we were worried like, could we even get one point against the inbuilt AI system? For ages, we couldn't even get one points.
