I was in for a rude shock because whilst breweries were very willing to help me. They all said to me that this is a big risk. We don't even have a single woman in our leadership team. And we certainly don't think the brewmaster in charge of this brewery should be a woman as we have hostile labor unions. So that's when I realized that this country wasn't ready for a woman brewmaster. It was very disillusioning for me. You know, I was very disappointed. Was Australia different?
