Michael Wolraich: Lewis' appeal to this natural law is so instinctive. But accompanied with this whole strategy is also a bit of a polemic because Lewis at the same time is looking at the alternative. He's not just pointing out where the subjectivity lies, but he's actually taking a look at science and asking how do we understand say natural philosophy itself? Wolraich says that if we increasingly see value as purely the projection of our individual whims, preferences, desires, then what we're effectively embracing is the will to power.
