China and the EU - Great Power Competition
Russia's invasion of Ukraine will likely bring China and Russia together towards closer trade relations, but also in energy dependence. The EU did not rise to the occasion and take a strong stance on this great power conflict; it would have been morally unable to be seen as a great power moving forward. There is more of a transatlantic convergence on China that we're seeing happen right now. And I do think Germany again is crucial with regards to China.
