"I went to one of the Desp brothers house about five years ago. It was basically where Beck did a lot of his recording," he says. "They were definitely up for and not just the finer things, but the really sort of eccentric esoteric bitching for fine things." He recalls meeting John Newman at a barbecue in summer 92; now they're working together with Tom Cruise's band 'Tommyknockers' The two men have been friends since their early 20s when Newmans first met Blondie singer-songwriter Bob Dylan.
