The Importance of Communication in Deals
The major firms have actually got very good at doing. And it's probably a more recent phenomenon than the deal that you're talking about. In some firms, like Blackstone, for example, I mean, you know, the memos and everything they send you on deals outstanding. They really stand out. You don't want to spend a decade of your life on a deal where the best you can do is return the investors money and make no return for yourself as well. It's important to think about this as a possibility alongside public markets or things like real estate.
