i love this question. It really is one of those moments where it's like we have to be introspective. How can someone comfortably call themselves a lead or senior developer when the longest they have ever been at a single job is less than three years? Can a manager really trust the decision of a senior engineer who has never had to feel the pain of their own decisions? Very interesting.
