The Gravitational Constant
G or uppercase G is a really tiny number. It's 6.67 times 10 to the minus 11. If G was much, much bigger, gravity would be much more powerful. We don't know if there are other options for this thing and why we have this value. But you're right, it completely controls the strength of gravity.
