Vigenagaro - A Place of Paradoxes and Contrasts
The virgeanagra empire was a place of paradoxes and contrasts. On one hand, its rulers modelled themselves on the old hindu south indian empires of the past. But in many other ways, it was also a surprisingly radical experiment that took hindo traditions and married them with an outward looking desire for new influences from the moslem world and beyond. The perspectives of historians on vigenagaro vary greatly, and in the past has caused huge disagreements.
