Are They Developing Into a Different Kind of Mind?
Parents need to be comfortable with discussing uncomfortable topics. Young people will seek out other places, avenues, where that safety is met. If they are shut down or ostrachized for asking questions, say, doctrinal questions policy and church aa,. things like that, then in fact we're actually teaching them that the church or our home is not a place is, you know, where can find answers. But it's like obsolutism rules: It's either all or nothing, and good or bad. We're really good at complying but Gaher isn't.
