Sufism and the Sufi

People say, this person is so dedicated, is taking nothing from the group. How can he or she be deluded or want power? This question ignores the fact that there are other things to be taken from situations than money or overt power. In one sense, the members of the group are also guilty. Their desire to be involved in something important, special or promising causes the suspension of common sense which the sufies need before progress can be made. The esotericist feeds off them. He or she seeks wonders, promptings, meanings and messages. Until that gap is filled, there will be no progress. And the onus is not only on the group leader to reform.
