"I talk about trying to understand parents a lot and it's not ever that I'm trying to say that everything they did was okay like again no parent is perfect including myself," she says. "It doesn't make it okay but it helps me to understand it and in not a way where I blame myself" She adds: "This is a place where we can connect and it's like safe and I will choose to connect that way instead."
