The Impossibility of Trust in Politicians
It's a bit of a commonplace too to say that more democracy in some way is always the answer. Democracy can solve some things, right? We can find out if there's a majority for a binary choice. What we can't necessarily do is guarantee that any way of choosing how to vote among things can get us a perfect answer. And what's more, democracy in some places can hurt in others. So we have moved to an American-style primary model for electing leaders in this country in our political party.
