Johnson was not particularly gifted in international politics. His ability was back room nipple twisting and getting social wealt o social programmes passed. Johnson didn't have the acumen that maybe kennedy had to be much more wary about getting involved in viet nam. But i don't think kened would hade much of a choice, because without no dindm being the strong man in vietnam,. they had to send in more and more troops to support this faltering government n insigon.
