The Importance of Escape From the Resistance

A lot of the most exciting stories are not in the airplane, there are people on the ground trying to get away. In many cases they'd be hidden by French civilians until the front advanced passed them and that could be matter of days or weeks. There's a couple of cases where guys fill in with, with resistance units and end up fighting with them essentially for two or three months. Many cases if you escaped via the resistance and you got back to England, you got sent back to the United States because they didn't want you being captured again.
