Choosing J Ruby Versus Jruby?

There's a lot of different variants of ruby. Jruby is written in c, but there's also j ruby, which was written o rubies and then relates back to java. When you have these jar files, they're even bigger. And suddenly you now have an arbitrary infestructure choice really now applying pressure on the foundational choices that you're making for your product.
