The National Grid Electricity System, Right?

I'm always in awe of so I work for National Grid, you know, the bit that owns the wires. There's a separate of National Grid, which runs the control room. So they're the people who have the big screen and looks like the dashboard. And it always blows my mind because I had to try to explain this to some primary school children the other day. Because electricity is pretty much instantaneous, right? You make it, you move it, you shift it, you almost instantaneously, right?
