The Pine Ridge Reservations want to connect their two wind farms to the electricity grid. The project is funded by Liles Company, a company that has been around for more than 100 years. Southwest Power Pool or SPP will have to make sure exactly the same amount of electricity is flowing into the grid as everybody out there is taking out of it.
Lyle Jack wants to build a wind farm on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. But to make the project work, he has to connect that wind farm to the electric grid.
