The Value of Testing for Orthostatic Vitals
The parkinson's one is one that i see missed actually, quite often. I really got interested in parkinsonian orthostatic hypotension when my father in law became parkinsonian. A very high percentage of older patients will have an orthostatic drop. It might cause you to fail to consider other causes of syncope,. such as more sinister so it is not my routine practice.
