The Effect of Moving in Synchrony on Opioid Production

Oxford University researchers looked at what happens when you move in synchrony. They found that those people who are strangest to one another moved together in synchrony, then it increased the opioid production in their brain. People were more likely to show pro social behavior when they moved together with other people. This all suggests that shared movement forms the basis of a social glue that bonds people together.
