The Importance of Socially Responsible Investing

The concept of ESG can be traced back to a UN report earlier in the 21st century. It's taking older concepts of impact investing and socially responsible investing, and talking about putting your money to work to create a values driven outcome. And that distinction is really important and kind of drives why blanket prohibitions on looking at ESG are not a good idea.
