The Importance of Multicultural Education

Sowell: The call for cultural diversity is a call for ideological conformity. Multiculturalists themselves do not see their philosophy as just one of many philosophies that different people may entertain, he says. Sowell goes on to say that none of these four arguments is supported by empirical evidence and there is much evidence which argues against them. For example, Japan is an example of a monocultural society which performs quite well in the global economy - apparently without a multicultural agenda.
