The Downfall of Excel
In 2005, a Kodak suffered an 11 million severance due to an Excel typo. A Canadian power company called TransAlta lost 24 million in an employee may say lines the rules and then it sells spreadsheets. MI5 bugs the wrong phones due to a spreadsheet formatting error that meant the agency was tapping over 100 people entirely unrelated to the investigation.
