What Is the Definition of Feature Freeze?

In general, it takes about us with less than two months to prepare release. This is a period when we start branching and run some stabilization of these procedures. And for now it's the day of branching of milestone branch is the feature freeze. After it, nothing goes into release. Nothing new goes into release, but fixes of course.
