Identifying the Reservoir Host

A disease can infect humans, but humans have a pretty high threshold for how much of it they have to be exposed to in order to actually get infected. An amplifier host becomes the intermediary between the reservoir host and like the other species. A vector or sometimes just called vectors, might simply pass the disease from one animal to another. So we're talking about multiple layers here.
