Franklin roosevelt is a controversial figure to some americans. He was inspirational, and as a politician he was masterful. There's a reason that there's a law now saying you can only be president for two terms. His style was different then someone like churchill. Churchill was a guyw you thought was ready to take off his coat and get in the mud and wrestle with hitler. But it's this sort of preacher, yankee preacher, looking down his nose and scolding while he and shakes the bible at you.
