Keen: Throughout grief is a thing with feathers. I mean with a figure of crow. He is a Freudian device in as much as he is rewriting morning in melancholy or after he has lost a child to say that was empty, that was hollow, that was empty. Keen: It's sort of like that double thing where of course you know that they're not going to come back but on the other hand there's this fantasy by creating something so good maybe they surely will come back to see this.
