Learning Responsibility for Children Ages 3 to 11

Kids ages three to five can start to learn responsibility by doing things like cleaning up their toys, singing the clean up song and putting dirty clothes in a hamper. And typically before six, we probably want to do the task with them or near by. The older they get, the more they can do. I just met with a kid this week who has an unbelievable pet sitting business. He's passed out fliers all over his neighbourhood. What also happens with kids when they have these opportunities is learned to save money. They learned to steward money, they learned to give money away, spend money wisely. We could run down a list.
