The Nuclear Reaction That Gives Birth to Potons

The light that comes out of the sun is in the form of four tons. These photons are born inside the sun, in the inner layers of the sun. The proton proton chain gives off nutrinos, gama rays and gamma rays. Every single second, every single second, about five million tons of matter are being converted into energy in the core of the Sun. That energy eventually makes its way out in the forms of light.
