NASA Launched a Solar Probe in August of 2018
NASA's Parker Solar Probe was launched in August of 2018. The probe is named after Eugene Parker, a famous theorist about how the sun works. More than 1 million people submitted their names to NASA for it to touch the sun. It will zip around the sun 24 times during its seven-year mission.
