Is the University a Self Governing Institution?

i don't think it does very much. But my, my views about this, i'll admit, are a little bit idiosocratic. The the court paraparadognatic ways of talking about academic freedom really do treat the university as free standing institution. That's it sort of confuses the issue. Is this valid i in your mind, to even entertain beyond a few minutes? Do you think it does confuse the andnd, if so, how a, i will put us back on.
