What's a Chiasm?

The Lord reveals himself to Jacob and I'll confess to you, I would like to see Jacob respond more like Abraham does. And instead, it's almost like he says, well, if you show yourself to be reliable, then you'll be my God. The great thing about this is how merciful God is and how God accomplishes his purpose with Jacob. Jim has already pointed out that you have an echoing of what has previously taken place with Babel.
