The Verisals Ostervirus is now globally distributed and probably has been so for a long time, like thousands of years. This type of widespread distribution is something we've seen for a lot of the typical childhood illnesses or what we would think of as childhood illnesses. And in many ways it follows the same epidemic pattern too. You get a critical mass of susceptible individuals in a population and then boom, like one exposure, the virus just races through - especially with an R not of nine to 10.
