The Supreme Court will probably quickly hear Graham's arguments, which had been rejected by an appeals court. The special purpose grand jury can sit for longer periods than a regular grand jury and it has the power to subpoena whoever the targets of an investigation are so that they can provide testimony. To me, this seems like a distinction without a difference, but in an effort to throw up whatever legal chaff is possible some of the targets are not surprisingly making a big issue of it.
