Don't be evil was removed from Google's corporate code of conduct in 2018. This makes me think about this idea that we wrote about in one of our books a while ago it was about the idea of having a moral compass. What a moral compass does is basically you align yourself to what's the right or wrong way to think about a given issue whether it's fracking or gun control or genetically engineered food. And if you operate with your moral compass it's easy to lose track of what the actual issue is. A moral compass can persuade you that all the answers are obvious even when they're not.
