The Iron Nit Is a Tradition of the Island
The iron nit is a white, angelic, white, complicated pattern sweater and over ther type stuff. In that was made for little boys and girls for the first communion and confirmation. And there was a lot of knits that the women did, patterns. When i sat down with women over the ears and talked to them about the stitches the sweaters, the styles and particularly the stitches that they used,. was much more restrained in design and much more appealing to me for presentation. But as just explains, how we get is that, putting it into new fabrics, into new qualities, particularly nowadays, into more cashmere and more baby alpaca, more silk and what have you.
