New York State Legislature Passes Cap and Invest Program

There were some other major climate related measures passed in the state budget. Cap and invest program would put money in working people's pockets, it would create hundreds of thousands of good jobs; slash pollution for all communities across the state. Unfortunately, the governor announced yesterday that she's going to delay regulatory process on carbon emissions from power plants by a year or more. She should get her act together with this big thing they've put in the statebudget. Do it right. It is a big mess.
