During the last presidential election, there was a lot of talk about an absence of kindness. Are they interconnected? Can you have one without the other? So i think a lot of that stems from that slight misunderstanding of empathyd. And so i spend a lot of time educating leaders on the fact that empathy is not about agreeing with someone and it isn't just about being nice.
