Is There Any Artistic Merit to These Photocopies?

Do you think that there's any artistic merit to these painstaking replications of photographs? I do think there's merit to it. Just because you are tired of seeing hakin phoenix's joker, does not mean other people who love the joker are tired of it. They want to see more, right? Like, it's just not for you. But i can't think of many people that i have known who have innovated as artists who have not had at least some of a critical spirit about what is popular. And your tapping into the dissatisfaction with what everybody else is happy with, and you may produce something that is exciting and new.
