The challenge is that with some protocols it's very easy to build something simple that just works and you don't have all these risk parameters. With other protocols like lending protocols with e-th derivatives  it's just much more much more complex but i guess the argument there would be some of these functions can become more automated some of them can become more algorithmic. How do you optimally govern a complex protocol? Try to reduce any sort of competing interests so first of all just talking no equity have revenue like what is the objective function of the company, for example. And then once you have those three things out of the way how about putting a specialist in place instead of paying them anything
