The Story of Empire Is Up for Grabs, and It's the Truth
We look at other countries in a very critical way, but we didn't look at our own. I think it's more painful for some people than others to have those narratives of empire wrenched away. There does seem to be a very strong contingent who are saying 'this is the story i choose to believein and therefore i choose what truth is' It sure seems like the truth his kind of up for grabs more ther should be, apparently. So, yes, yeeay, in a really distressing way.
