The House Was a Fecking Giant House
Kathy was tense from her strained relationship with george and from the efforts of trying to put her house in shape before christmas. On their fourth night in the house, she exploded and, together with her husband, beat danny, chris and missy with a strap and a large, heavy wooden spoon. The children had accidentally cracked a pane of glass in the playroom's half moon window. Kathy does reflect on it for one sentence in the next chapter: "I really wish i hadn't beaten my kids up"
