The Failure of Audio in Major League Baseball

In 2002, BAM had promised to raise $60 million from the teams. Each team has committed $1 million for four years in a deal that was structured so Major League Baseball is owned by the owners of the teams. Bowman does a deal with Ticketmaster in mid 2002 to partner with them to power the sale of tickets on the team's websites. And still to this day, if you go to the Mariners or the Giants or the Yankees website to buy a ticket, it's done in partnership with Ticketmaster.
