1785 the Land Ordinance Act provided a clearer system for putting formerly native land into the hands of white settlers. The Homestead Act ultimately transferred 10 percent of all the land in the US to regular citizens. It's also how we created the sort of townships that we have there would be 36 square units. Unit number 16 was set aside for public education so we can see since 1785 we've made some contributions around public education and how necessary it was.
When it comes to U.S. government programs and support earmarked for the benefit of particular racial groups, history is clear. White folks have received most of the goodies.
