The Importance of Writing Out Your Ideas
Sally Kohn: I'm going to be using this quote in the book that I'm presently editing. She says, before you discuss a contentious issue in a meeting, have everyone write down what they think first? He suggests having everyone write it down and then either pass it up to the front or keep it by you. And then after that, you can bring up the original idea so that none of those is lost through just somebody not getting to speak or being discussed over by other people in the meeting. It's interesting. The errors of a theory are rarely found in what it asserts explicitly. They hide in what it ignores or tacitly assumes.
