Are We Getting a Selection Bias in High Schools?
Economics is based on stochastic relationships that are true on average, even though they're not necessarily true in every case. I've been consistently shocked at the very high quality of education that comes from certain places. There are good high schools across the country that are doing the job that they're supposed to do. But we don't have some kind of situation where everything's wonderful and this sort of thing.
