The Practical Teaching of Revelation for the Present Day Church

Luther said that hell is being in the presence of God in an unredeemed state. C.S. Lewis put it well when he said hell is locked from the inside. It just sort of is what could have been human and refused to become fully human. That's the place left for it. And I'm inclined towards the view that it's eternal in consequence, not in duration. But it is terrible either way.
